Ever wanted a script that would round the corners of images for you?\u00a0 Well, if you said yes, I wrote myself a bash script to do just that.\u00a0 As of this post it can do the following: round of corners of images and it can also add a glass-bubble effect as described in the ImageMagick tutorials.\u00a0 You can specify the border radius and a background color, which is handy if you are making JPEGs.\u00a0 The script’s help screen is shown below, as well as a couple of samples.\u00a0 Radius sizes are in pixels.<\/p>\n

.\/rounded_corner.sh <inputfile> <outputfile> [options]\r\n\u00a0 -m\u00a0\u00a0 Method [plain or glass-bubble]\r\n\u00a0 -r\u00a0\u00a0 Corner Radius\r\n\u00a0 -b\u00a0\u00a0 Background Color\r\nMethod can be plain or glass-bubble at the moment. (default: plain)\r\nRadius specifies the radius of the rounded corners. (default: 15)\r\n\r\nNote: This should be able to function as filter command, so if you wanted\r\nrounded thumbnails of a particular size you can:\r\nconvert <bigfile> -resize 200x200 png:- | .\/rounded_corner.sh png:- smallrounded.png\" 1>&2<\/pre>\n\n\t\t
